[mou jee-ahn]          Five Mountain and Two Pools

This distinguished green tea is found in China’s historic Henan Province, in a region known as “Five Mountains and Two Pools.” We are proud to offer this special green tea to our customers. Its small, uniform leaves are distinguished by silvery tips. Both its aroma and flavor are surprisingly rich for a green tea--almost closer in feel to a “blue-green” oolong. Its smooth, almost creamy texture, woven with its delicious vegetal taste, makes it a truly pleasant and beloved tea. A perfect companion for sitting and watching the leaves begin to change color in early fall.

Mao Jian is sold for $8.00 / oz.
