[ya bau] Wild Tea Buds
This delicate white tea is harvested from sprouts on the small twigs of Wild Tea Trees grown in western Yunnan. The large pine-cone shaped buds are picked in late March and sun dried.
Ya Bao is distinguished from other white teas by a sweet and fresh flavor that stands alone in the world of tea. The brewed liquor is pale white and clear, with a hint of honeysuckle in the aroma. The drinker is instantly transported to a grove of flowers, where they might spend hours watching the bees hard at work. This Chinese tea warms and soothes, lifting the spirit at any time of year. In the summer, Ya Bao can be cold-steeped and chilled for a delightfully refreshing beverage.
The price of this tea has been affected by the Trump administration’s tariffs on Chinese products. The tariffs were paid by our company to the US government when importing. Contrary to the administration’s claims, they are not paid by the country of origin, but by us and you the consumer.
Ya Bao is sold for $10.00 / oz.
