“First Flush” Sencha
Sencha style tea shade-grown for less than 20 days. Shade growing increases the amount of protein and chlorophyll in the leaf. Kabusecha combines green freshness of Sencha with the creamy, brothy, and pungent richness of Gyokuro. The balance of flavors and pleasant umami is sure to please both Sencha and Gyokuro enthusiasts.
“Drink your tea slowly and reverently, as if it is the axis on which the world earth revolves — slowly, evenly, without rushing toward the future.” -Thich Nhat Hahn
